The YW and YM performed at the Ward Party. They put on "The Evolution of Dance" They did such a great job and a lot of cheers from the ward. Lee Hadlock helped choreograph them with Sister Allen, who can get her Groove on too. All of you did such a great job and we are so proud of you.

Caroling "Hark the Herald Angels Sing"

Tis'the Season... to sing...so we went caroling to a few of our neighbors. Santa especially loved our singing.
We started off at Sister Allen's house putting some delicious treats together made by Amelia "our chef".
"Love is in the air"
We had a great time singing to the families and we think they enjoyed it to. We had a little trouble remembering some of the words on some songs so there was a lot of la la las.

Santa, Santa, everywhere!

We ended the night with yummy hot chocolate again at Sister Allen's house. We hope that all the Young Women felt the spirit that was brought to our neighbor's homes.
Merry Christmas ! We love all of you! We pray that you are happy, healthy and you remember that you are a daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves you.

For Standards Night "09 we had a "Bulletproof Ball" . We want our youth to Put on the Armor of God and not let the things of the world damage their spirits. It started off with the girls helping each other get even more beautiful...if that is possible.

Next, we learned a few rules of etiquette and had a delicious dinner made by the Vallen's and served by the Bishopric and the YM leaders. It was so nice and we appreciate all the help.

The night progressed and Nicole, Josh, Courtney, and Daniel taught the Youth and a few leaders how to Waltz. They worked hard to learn the dance and teach it to us as well as passing off a Personal Progress Value Project. It was really fun and they were beautiful in their ball gowns .

There was a lot of pondering involved when Cougar Hall came and talked to the Youth about putting on The Armor of God and what that means. He taught us what each piece of our armor is needed for and that we are armored heavily in front so that we will take problems head on . We learned that we all need stay close to our Heavenly Father and what it is He wants from each of us. We need to stay on the path towards Him and not take one step in the other direction. He did a great job once again and we all felt the spirit as he taught us.

"Our Beautiful Princesses"

"Our Handsome Princes"

We have a great group of Youth and we are so honored to be able to serve them. We want the best for all of them and hope that they will remember who they are...that they are so special and children of a Heavenly Father who loves them and is always there to listen and help them with anything...they just need to reach out to Him!
