Youth Conference 09 was really fun and we appreciate all the time that was put in by the Bishopric to arrange it for us. It started off at Uncle Howard's House in Morgan. It was a crazy road to get there but we made it safe and sound. Dinner was prepared by the Norman's and was great as usual. Sis. Norman's cookies were a hit!

We ate and ate and then played and talked for a couple of hours.

We had a fireside that we talked about pioneers in our families and we all had a chance to share our history.
Erika and Lexi win the least amount of sleep award, although I think Sister Allen was close behind making sure all the girls were in thier tents! The next morning we at breakfast and headed to Immigration Canyon to see where the Pioneers first entered the valley.

From there we went to "This is The Place" and learned more about what the Pioneers went to to get to Salt Lake City. The next stop was a hike up Ensign Peak.

SOME OF US WERE A LITTLE MORE TIRED THAN OTHERS!

After the BIG hike, the Bishopric treated us to CROWN BURGER!!! YUM! We then had a pix scavenger hunt at the Salt Lake City Cemetary where we looked for the graves of former Prophets which began at the prophet we all loved dearly, President Hinckley. The spirit there was very strong.
Our final stop was Ice Cream at Baskin Robbins . We had a great time and thank you to all who helped and to all the Youth who were so great. We especially love our girls and we so glad they all could come!
